Aaron
French has been the chef at The Sunny Side Cafe since
it opened in January 2004. In 2007 he started Sunny Side Organics
as the chef / owner to expand his dedication to creating healthy,
tasty, and organic food.
Sunny Side Organics is a very small, local, family run business
producing unique organic foods in The Sunny Side Café
kitchen and selling in local farmers markets and specialty
stores.
Aaron have developed some unique products that are all made
with organic, wild, and fair trade ingredients, including
spiced salts, bittersweet hot chocolates, dressing concentrates,
and mustards.
All are beautifully eco-packaged
and make great gifts. Aaron spent many years as a tropical
biologist, where he was able to photograph places people don’t
normally see, and he has included these photos of rare animals,
plants and places as part of the packaging.
Aaron is also the EcoChef columnist for the Bay Area New Group, including the Oakland Tribune, Contra Costa Times, and San Mateo County Times newspapers.
